Welcome to our Hotel & Restaurant, Gasthof zum Ochsen, at the Marktplatz in Ehingen at the river Donau. Ehingen is situated at Oberschwaebischen Barockstrabe, offering the ideal area to enjoy our wonderful hometown. The Schwaebische Alb lies on a higher plain just north of our beautiful town at the Donau and of Schmiech, and Oberschwaben starting just to the south of the town. You would like to go to Ulm? No problem-within 20 min. by car you will reach the town with the highest church tower of the world and the beautiful Fishing town. You would like to see various castles? These we have nearby, towards Sigmaringen, still today the Fuerstensitz, and to the Nature Park, Oberes Donautal, it will take you a mere 45 min. or quite conveniently by train within 35 min. The full splendour of the Barock spreading itself straight into our town with its three churches and leading over the Schlob Mochental, and the monastery, Obermarchtal und Zwiefalten to the holy mountain, Oberschwabens, the Bussen with a stunning Panorama view onto Oberschwaben, Schwaebische Alb and the Donau. We could name you many more tourist attractions in and around our hometown but these we shall reveal to you personally. Our hotel lies in a quiet area yet we are in the middle of the historical old town. Various cycling-and walking tracks lie directly at or nearby our hotel. Should you arrive by car, you can park free of charge in the underground Bucks Hoefle parking, which leads you directly to the hotel. And guests arriving by bus have the possibility of parking nearby the hotel free of charge. We have 20 rooms with 39 beds. After an eventfull day, let us serve you in our restaurant (10 seats) or in our beautiful beergarden with a creative - regional kitchen. We look forwad to welcoming you. Additional information: - Children age 2 yrs. and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 3-12 receive a 50PCT reduction. Children ages 12 to 14 receive a 20PCT reduction.
